Posted by 5 years ago. Can anyone help me find versions of Doom and Doom II for my Macbook Pro with os x yosemite on it? I downloaded the doomsday engine but am relatively new to this so I don't really know how jdoom and wad files and what not work really, especially in regards to mac. In case you played the original 1993 Doom or the various sequels, you already know what to expect with this new iteration. You are a space marine on Mars for some reason and you have many demons to rip to shreds. Doom 2016 is quick paced with sprinting, jumping and mantling. You have to know that the Doomguy is almost the fastest demon in the game. Movement is the main key to offense and defense, too. In the game , there aren’t reloading mechanics or regenerating health. But there exist health packs and armor to reduce damage taken. Another important thing is that in the campaign and in SnapMap, you can hold an unlimited number of weapons. All the weapons are showed on a weapon wheel.
